GREEN Efforts
We are dedicating this page to our effort in “Going Green”. Current Activities: - We recycle steel, oil, batteries, aluminum, paper, newspaper, magazines, plastic, and cardboard.
- We purchase shavings packaged in brown paper bags. These bags may be returned to Heritage Carriage for recycling.
- We are continuously investigating products that are natural, organic, cruelty free, environmentally friendly, safe, and just as important – that work.
- We have repair and preventive maintenance programs that will increase the life of your tack and trailer.
- We have installed energy saving devices in our facilities to reduce the demand on our natural resources.
- We assist our trailer transporters in finding transporting opportunities for their return trip by providing advance notice and a flexible delivery schedule.
- Whenever possible we use “person power” to move trailers around our lots.
- We have a Hybrid Vehicle for our personal transportation.
